JOB DESCRIPTION This Vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Hays Accountancy and Finance who is operating as an employment agency. Blackburn College are looking for a Financial Accountant to work with the Financial Services Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, fixed asset register and assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and annual financial statements, as well as the treasury management of college funds. You will also contribute to improving the existing financial services systems and line manage the Cashiers and Payroll function. It is essential that you are CCAB qualified or are currently studying towards a CCAB qualification and are committed to qualifying. You will have strong IT and Excel skills and knowledge of fixed assets, payroll and cashiering.
